Established in March 2003, the Lancefield & District Farmers' Market continues to provide a viable place for producers to trade their vegetables, fruit, honey, eggs, wines, cakes, breads, preserves, herbs, poultry, meats & other off farm produce. The market is managed by the Lancefield Neighbourhood House & is accredited with the Victorian Farmers' Markets Association.

Markets are held on the 4th Saturday of the Month (3rd Sat in Dec) 9-1 High st

This role is for someone who is physically fit, as there is some heavy lifting involved and lots of walking!

The Market Volunteers assist the Market Manager with meeting compliance needs around event management, setting out Road Closed signage, setting up marquees safely and monitoring vendor set-up and pack-down. It is a busy, active and sociable role.

Key Requirements: Available on 4th Saturday of the month Physically fit and able to walk Willing to learn and take instruction

Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) . Heavy Lifting . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Physically fit. Need to be able to lift road signs and set up marquees. Able to walk and be on their feet. This role is for locally-based volunteers.
