About this opportunity
Our Property Services Team at Seaford and Wayville would love your help if you have some time to spare. Our teams will be delighted to have your support if you have the time and wish to commit to a set day or days to work with one of our teams. This is indoor and outdoor work and requires working with instruction and flexibility to do different tasks from hanging pictures, setting rooms up for events, fixing wheelchairs, to 'touch up painting' in rooms and more.
National Police Certificate *.
You will be required to commit to shifts agreed upon, police clearance, manual handling specific to Property Services, Corporate Induction, Site Induction and Role Induction.
All volunteers must have the 2021 Influenza vaccination and the Covid-19 vaccinations to work in Aged Care.
* During the Covid-19 pandemic, organisations should be providing all necessary Covid-19 safety protection measures for volunteers following the advice of both the State or Territory Governments and the Federal Government. Your safety and wellbeing is your priority. Familiarise yourself with the most up-to-date requirements and advice from the Australian and NT and SA State Governments.
* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
