About this opportunity
Volunteers will be provided with an application form with assistance available to complete it. Volunteers will take part in an induction and be provided with a buddy until they feel ready. Volunteers will be provided with a beautiful meal, tea and coffee. Volunteers main job is to assist our participants to meet their goals:
- Learning to cook
- Create a sense of belonging and connection
- Develop relationships
- Increase social networks and reduced isolation
- Build confidence
- Develop creativity

Friendly and welcoming, be open to connect and respect our valuable participants, some cooking or art/craft interest important.
Working with Children Check, NDIS worker orientation certificate, NDIS screening, COVID -19 TRIPLE VACCINATION PROOF REQUIRED. Note: GCEC will assist with gaining NDIS requirements. The orientation is online.
