About this opportunity
During Saturdays, the canteen can be open from 8am until 6pm, depending on what junior and senior games are scheduled for the day. Food handling experience would be handy, but everything can be taught as you go. Serving customers and stocking fridges. A couple of hours volunteering during the day would be a great help.
During home games we would have the need for a Timekeeper at 11.45am for less than 2 hours, 2pm for just over 2 hours and 4.45pm for 90 mins. Looking for volunteers to fill one or all of the time slots. Approx 10 home games during the year. Timekeeper keeps track of the time for each quarter, hits the siren to alert players and umpires and updates the electronic scoreboard.
Team Manager travels with team on away games and at Strathpine for home games. Duties would include compiling team sheets for umpires, arranging jumpers for seniors and reserves, taking votes for players player, and any ad hoc tasks coaches need done.
During home games we would have the need for a Goal Umpire at 11.45am for less than 2 hours, 2pm for just over 2 hours and 4.45pm for 90 mins. Looking for volunteers to fill one or all of the time slots. Approx 10 home games during the year
