General Depot Maintenance Volunteer - SteamRanger - Goolwa

SteamRanger Heritage Railway are looking for a General Depot Maintenance person for their Goolwa Depot. Duties will include undertaking Depot and site specific periodical maintenance including;
- General ground and yard maintenance
- gardening, including operating a whipper snipper to clear vegetation
- sorting of scrap metal for disposal
- small painting tasks
- keeping sheds tidy
- washing of carriages when required
- work actively to provide a safe working environment

Willingness to undertake Track Awareness Course. Be physically fit, reliable, ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a team. Ability to take direction and guidance. Able to prioritise work schedules. Adherence to the SteamRanger code of Conduct is mandatory. We require a proof of at least one Vax date and the proof of when they have their second shot booked.
Depot operating hours - 8am to 4pm Monday & Tuesday. Work hours to be negotiated with supervisor.
