About this opportunity
Volunteers will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact with a wide range of people. An interest in history, tourism, archaeology or customer service is desirable. Duties include: Opening and closing the site and buildings Greeting visitors and answering questions about the Old Mill and local area Recording visitor numbers Counting and recording donations Maintaining a safe and clean environment Adhering to all procedures outlined in the Volunteer Procedure Booklet
National Police Certificate *.
Volunteers must be 18 years or above and a Volunteer Police Check will be undertaken by the City .
This role would suit someone who is friendly and enthusiastic about history and keeping heritage sites open to the public. We require volunteers who can commit to regular weekend shifts and some Public Holidays.
Saturday 1-4pm or Sunday 1-4pm, plus some Public Holidays and Events.Type of work
