About this opportunity
Do you enjoy spending time with the elderly? Are you a natural communicator, with a positive personality? If you have answered yes to these questions and you are looking to brighten up the day of a member of our ageing populations then you should read on and find out some more about volunteering in the Wellbeing Program.
The Men's group Lifestyle Program provide interesting activities to male residents of MACS (e.g. fishing trips, bbq, bowling, group walking activities). MACS is looking for people focused, empathetic volunteers with a positive outlook who would support the designated wellbeing workers in facilitating these activities. We are looking for a volunteer who can dedicate 1 to 2 days a week to this program. Ideally Friday plus another day of your choice.
National Police check run by Cultura.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
This position would suit someone who enjoys spending time with the elderly. Qualifications or experience in this area would be an advantage. A second language would be beneficial (but not essential), especially a language spoken by one of the residents.
1 to 2 days a week - ideally Friday plus another day of your choice. Additional information is available from the agency
