About this opportunity
Easy Care Gardening looks after the gardens of people who are older so that they can stay living safety in their own homes.
Their volunteer teams are made up of people who enjoy the outdoors and want to make a positive difference.
They make clients gardens safe, enjoyable and low maintenance.
As an Easy Care Gardening Volunteer you will:
• Learn new skills
• Work in a team and meet new people
• Help the community
• Get exercise
All levels of gardening experience welcome. They provide tools and training. Covid Safe practises are in place for all clients gardens.
About You:
• Be 16+ years of age (or 14 year + if you sign up with a parent of guardian)
• Provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination status
• Be willing and able to follow instructions
• Be reliable , positive and enthusiastic
• Be willing to commit 3 hours + per month
University students and people on Jobseeker Payment are welcome to apply.
Additional requirements
Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.
Police check will be organised through the participating organisation
Typically 3 hours in the morning or afternoon
