We are looking for

  1. A passionate financial person (currently working in or with a background in accounting and financial management to fill the role) . Duties would be Legal and financial accountability.

As a Committee Member of six you will actively participate in meetings through attendance, discussion, and review of minutes, papers and other Committee documents and support the Chairperson in the disciplined conduct of meetings.

By joining this committee, you will be required to understand the goals, objectives and desired outcomes of the NNFH along with a true commitment to the NNFH values. This opportunity will see you support open discussion and debate to encourage fellow Committee members to voice their insights.

Accountant & / or Treasurer - Arts & Culture LGBTIQ Organisation

The people we are looking for will have demonstrated experience and achievement at a senior level in management and leadership along with strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to deal with multiple stakeholders in a diverse organisational setting.

Governance role: Good governance adds value. It is lean, transparent and ethical, focused on tackling operational challenges in ways that complement the big picture vision. It always seeks the best outcomes for stakeholders and is never content with merely staying out of trouble.

Treasurer role: Oversee the financial administration of the organisation, review procedures and financial reporting, advise the board on financial strategy, and advise on fundraising. Ensuring other directors are adequately informed of financial related issues to ensure good decision-making.


Almost 3 years old, the Naughty Noodle Fun Haus (NNFH) has very quickly become the Central Coast NSW’s home for authentic and ongoing cutting-edge Multi-Arts & Discourse with is visibly diverse and always inclusive.

NNFH is a not-for-profit community Arts & Culture organisation whose vision is to be a regional leader in the promotion of diversity, inclusion, equity and social justice through creativity, culture and collaborations. We are intentionally leveraging the power of Arts & Culture for a Happier, Healthier and more welcoming Central Coast region while driving a broader agenda for transformation that is fearlessly igniting new possibilities for the regions social, cultural and economic success. As We are targeting "diversity as the norm", increasing exposure to a greater range of artist, audience and community voices and perspectives including LGBTQIA+; Aboriginal & Torres strait islander people, people of color, women, people living with disability, multi-cultural, inter-generational and socially isolated.

As a fresh and innovative start-up the NNFH board operates as a skills-based working board (currently 5) . The Board is seeking to recruit 2 new Directors as we moves into our Forth year this November. With 954% growth from 1st year to second, surviving and continued success across almost 2 years of on and off COVID and lock downs we are looking for engaged humans to support our vision, key stakeholders, assets, programs and community development functions. Applicants will be expected to be able to significantly contribute to Board discussions, planning and committee work, guiding strategic direction and positioning the social enterprise for long-term success.

The Board is interested in talking with exceptional leaders who have experience in Charity / DGR governance and a Treasurer role to meet our ROCO & ACNC obligations as well as offer insights to the board. Both roles require broader interests in human rights, gender and sexuality diverse regional community and believe in the Power of Arts & Culture to change the world into a better place for everyone. If you are interested in serving on a hard-working board of Directors we are particularly seeking expressions of interest from people with professional skills in at least one of the following: • Charity governance • Fundraising • Grant writing • Tourism

Time Required

Will actively participate in meetings through attendance, discussion, and review of minutes, papers and other Governance Committee documents and support the Chairperson in the disciplined conduct of meetings. You will be expected to attend 75% of scheduled meetings (generally bi-monhtly) in a yearly period, commit 35-40 hours annually to attend and read agenda papers & strategy sessions.
