MENTOR DRIVER for the Gearing Up Program
About this opportunity
The Gearing Up program is one of the learner driver mentor programs. We have two automatic cars based in Kingston and Huonville. We assist disadvantaged learner drivers to gain their required 50 hours of driving by supplying the car and the supervisory driver. We provide training, the cost of the Police and Working with Vulnerable People checks, the car, the insurance and the learner.
Additional requirements
Driver's Licence (F) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Full and clean driving licence. We will conduct the Police and Working with Vulnerable People Checks at our own expense.
Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.
