About this opportunity

Visiting an older person who is socially isolated or feeling lonely gives them the opportunity to connect with their community, build friendships and have the championship of a friend.

We visit in either Residential Aged Care Facilities or in the Clients own home under the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme.

Sharing common interests and taking the time to listen to stories from times gone by.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . Flu vaccination . National Police Certificate *.

National Police Check (Advocare will pay for this)

2023 Influenza Vaccine
Enjoy having a chat and have good listening skills
A Genuine empathy and understanding of older people

Time Required

Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm Saturday – Sunday 10.00am – 3.00pm
