Friendly female over 50 yr old volunteer to visit elderly lady fortnightly in Rowville as part of Community Visiting Scheme

About this opportunity

Bring a smile and cheer up this elderly lady (English speaking) during fortnightly friendly visits in Rowville, who is isolated, lonely and loves to talk. A female volunteer (50 + age bracket) is suitable for this role. Visits may be spent listening, talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in their life - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to fortnightly visits for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role & we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation and ongoing support.
