Museums & Heritage Regular - less than 6 months Westbury TAS

About this opportunity

In this role you will be working alongside experienced people to maintain, preserve, restore or rebuild mechanical items within the museums collection depending on their condition.

Tools are provided or you can bring your own.


Additional requirements

This position is open to those with or without formal engineering or mechanical qualifications but have mechanical knowledge, skill and aptitude for this type of work.
The museum has varied items within the collection which give volunteers a wide range of mechanical projects available to them.
Volunteers will assist to maintain, preserve, restore or rebuild mechanical artifacts.

Tools are provided but welcome to bring own tools. Must be able to work within OH&S guidelines.
Whilst Working with Vulnerable People and Police Check are not essential it would be an advantage.

Time Required

Open July August September 10 am - 3 pm ; Other months 10-4 pm Volunteer required mornings, afternoons or as arranged.
