About this opportunity

The Volunteer Fundraising Officer is responsible for identifying and implementing any fundraising ideas for both the football club, social club and other causes that the club wishes to support.

Duties:

  • Identify fundraising opportunities and present them to the committee to see if they will be implemented.
  • Design and organise events that are approved by the committee.
  • Create a template that can be issued to businesses that can offer prizes in events.

Qualifications/ Experience: None necessary.

Skills:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills to be able to finish planning and implement the fundraising event by a given time.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to discuss with possible sponsors about their level of commitment.
  • Have the ability to grow and maintain relationships.


Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *.

All persons involved in the junior (under 18) players (and shall include as a minimum all Coaches, Trainers, Team Managers and may extend to Club Secretaries and Football Managers) MUST have police check.
