About this opportunity
Our residents would enjoy your support if you have some free time to add joy and individual support to their daily living. You will need to be reliable, sincere, and able to communicate with people to support their living and daily experiences.
This role is within our memory support units where you will be with staff and residents sharing individualised activities that assist them to experience and enjoy one on one support.
All volunteers must have the annual Influenza vaccinations, triple Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance working with vulnerable persons

Please Note:

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
A few hours as a shift is very flexible and best suited to fit our residents. The best times suited are 10-12pm, 1.00pm - 4.pm and 6 - 7.30pm.
