About this opportunity
OzHarvest is Australia's leading food rescue organisation, collecting quality excess food from supermarkets and delivering it to local charities supporting people in need. Volunteers are the heartbeat of OzHarvest and the Victor Harbor Chapter is looking for volunteers on the Fleurieu Peninsula to join their "yellow army". Food Rescue volunteers will assist OzHarvest team members with food collection, sorting and delivery in the Victor Harbor/Goolwa area.
Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.
Food Rescue volunteers will work well in a team, be physically fit (lifting and loading of boxes into vehicles) and have a driver's licence and own vehicle.
Collections are on Mondays and Thursday starting at 2pm and finishing at approximately 4pm. Volunteers do not necessarily have to commit to every Monday and Thursday.Suitable for
