Drivers and support workers for the vision impaired

Drivers: Currently we need drivers to pick up clients in the following suburbs- Ferntree Gully, Boronia and Croydon to take them to the Bayswater Day Program at the Knox Community Arts Centre- Mountain Highway, Bayswater. This would be on a Wednesday and possibly a Friday.

Day Program Support: Bayswater Day Program requires volunteers to assist staff and clients in participating in the social group on a Wednesday and a Friday from 10am-2pm. Duties include: chatting with clients, crosswords, discussions, outings (lunch), some food preparation may be required, assisting with tea and coffee, reading newspaper etc. Location is Knox Community Arts Centre- Mountain Highway, Bayswater

Dinner Groups Drivers: are required for our monthly Dinner Groups.

We require volunteers who would like to assist by taking clients to the Monash and Outer East Dinner Groups. The group meets once a month on a Monday and goes to various venues around the Monash and Outer East areas. Pick up is around 5pm from the following locations: Oakleigh, Mount Waverley, Donvale and Wantirna areas and drop off is around 8.15pm. Volunteer stays and supports client to attend the dinner group with duties such as reading menu, guiding in the venue etc.

Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate ^*.
