By volunteering in Save the Children - Willunga Op Shop, you'll be supporting one of Australia's largest aid and development organisations.

They do exactly what their name says - save children's lives.

They go to the toughest places in the world to help children devastated by disasters, disease or conflicts. Their programs improve the health of children, create greater access to quality education for all boys and girls, and protect children from abuse, neglect and exploitation.

You'll be making a real difference to the lives of millions of children - now and in the future.

There are tons of things you can do in their store. Whether it's:

  • dressing a shop window
  • serving and chatting with the customers (while you tell them about the fabulous items available for sale)
  • or sorting stock in the back room.

Centrelink approved.

All Training provided instore by the Area Manager.

On-going support from the whole team of volunteers too!

If you are:

Ideally, you'll be available to volunteer 1 - 3 days per week, either full day or half-day shifts.

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

* Organised
* Show care with your personal presentation
* Ability to commit to regular weekly shifts
* Ability to work unsupervised (after finished with training of course!)

* Permit Save the Children to undertake a National Police Clearance - to complete prior to starting - Provide 4 copies of identification for the Police Clearance as set out in the Guidelines - Sign off on required documentation of Policies - Undertake essential training including attending the Induction and Orientation.

* May be arranged via the Organisation. Details to be provided on expression of interest.

Monday to Saturday * full shifts on offer (10.00am to 4.00pm) or part day shifts * (10-1) or (1-4)
