Volunteer Animal Care Attendant

Looking for a rewarding volunteer role? Do you love animals and passionate about animal welfare? Big Ears is a non-profit organisation that provides sanctuary for many different species of animals. Some have been rescued while others needed new homes for various reasons including neglect, mistreatment or abandonment. As a Volunteer Animal Care Attendant your duties may include but not limited to: Cleaning animal cages and pens plus replenishing fresh water and straw. Feeding animals, walking animals, changing/moving animal pens or looking after sick animals. You will be required to work within Workplace Health and Safety Guidelines and be happy to work alone or as part of a team. Policed Check required. A minimum 3 month commitment is required.
