Weir P&C believes in giving every child, every chance! We run a fully operation tuckshop 5 days a week, and also organise and run a number of fundraising events to provide the 'kit and kaboodle' to give every child every chance. Volunteer opportunities are always welcomed at the Weir State School.
Weir State School was first established over 138 years ago, our P&C Association are always looking for and welcome volunteers to enhance our tuckshop.
Our school tuckshop operates 8:15am to 2:00 pm weekdays with our key time of need between 9:00am to 11:30am to provide healthy food options in conjunction with the "Smart Food Choices" strategy.
Some tasks may include:
Interacting with children Cooking for scratch wholesome foods Making sandwiches Restocking
Additional opportunities exists from time to time to assist with one off events within the school community including: Redd food day, Mothers & Fathers Day, Disco's and School Fetes.

Volunteer work can not commence until the Bluecard has been sighted.
