Driver for social outings

About this opportunity

Launceston VFC offer a variety of social outings to our clients. Transport is provided in the local Launceston area and other regions to offer clients an opportunity to make social connections, access events and locations which they may not otherwise be able to do so. Drivers must be able to work off a run sheet, take direction from office staff, receipt client fees, and assist with mobility aids. Volunteers are provided with an induction, buddy shift with an existing driver & ongoing support from our team.

Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate ^*.

An annual national police certificate is required, at no cost for our volunteers.
Due to insurance requirements drivers will need to be over 25 years of age, hold a full Tasmanian licence with at least 2 years of driving experience.

Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.

Time Required

Occasional Mondays or Tuesdays during business hours, occasional Thursday evenings.
