Volunteers for Riding for the Disabled Centres - Glenorchy

Disability Services Regular - more than 6 months Glenorchy TAS

About this opportunity

Helping at centres: assisting the coach during lessons, preparing horses, feeding horses, fencing paddocks as required. All the tasks associated with the keeping and riding of horses require volunteers. Our clients are people with disabilities so it is a requirement to have a current Working With Vulnerable People card and the capacity to interact sensitively with our clients is vital. Training and mentoring is available. This is a worthwhile and enjoyable activity and we would welcome motivated volunteers to join us.
