We're looking for a motivated individual to help with social media posting on Facebook and Instagram, maintaining a website, and reaching out to newspapers and radio stations to spread the word. We are a not-for-profit community group who hold an annual “Hills Billy Cart Festival” at Mount Helena in the Perth Hills. Our next event will be on 24th March 2024 The festival objective is to provide fun for the young and the young at heart and would be perfect for the Entertainment Entrepreneur - perhaps this is you.

The volunteer will assist with the early literacy program Paint Bunbury REaD which encourages everyone to "talk, read, sing, rhyme, yarn, draw and play with children every day from birth". The volunteer's roles will include monitoring the book swap boxes, creating some resources and assisting at story time events.

Radio Lollipop's amazing volunteers provide care, comfort, play, and entertainment to children in hospital. You too can add some fun and laughter into a child's stay at hospital, brighten their road to recovery, and all as part of a wonderful team. A one-year commitment is required, consisting of a weekly 2.5 - 3 hour shift. PCH provides the unique opportunity to work on the radio, with volunteers rotating between broadcasting and interactive play on the ward.

We provide lost child stops and family meeting points, which act as a trusted meeting place and provide safe refuge for children who become lost. They are also a point for parents to collect free Constable Care safety wristbands to write their contact details on in case of an emergency. Our service increases community safety and reduces risk and trauma for children attending popular events.
