The volunteer will assist with the early literacy program Paint Bunbury REaD which encourages everyone to "talk, read, sing, rhyme, yarn, draw and play with children every day from birth". 89 7FM is a Community Radio Station situated on the ECU Joondalup Campus. We are seeking announcers for a range of time slots both weekdays and on the weekends. As a community radio station, we seek a responsible person that is flexible, and willing to learn new, diverse skills. The role will suit someone with an engaging persona with strong communication skills, and able to commit to 2 -3 hours a week.

We provide lost child stops and family meeting points, which act as a trusted meeting place and provide safe refuge for children who become lost. They are also a point for parents to collect free Constable Care safety wristbands to write their contact details on in case of an emergency. Our service increases community safety and reduces risk and trauma for children attending popular events.
