Breastfeeding counsellors are trained volunteers who offer breastfeeding information and mother-to-mother support to women whose babies are breastfeeding and to their families. Their area of expertise is breastfeeding support. The counsellors have to have breastfed at least one baby for a minimum of 6 months and hold a current Certificate IV in Breastfeeding Education (Counselling) (or equivalent) and have to complete ongoing training to up d ate their knowledge and skills.

Mainly music is a Christian based music program for families with pre- school children including babies. We provide a time and place where young children and their carers find delight in shared experiences through music and play, are accepted for who they are, and grow educationally. Each session provides education and development outcomes, an opportunity for children to enjoy an enhanced attachment experience with their family,

Mondays 4:30pm to 6:30pm In Greenfields. Spectrum Space runs a social group for kids on the spectrum aged 10 to 15 years. The group runs every Monday from 4:30pm. This would be a great opportunity for psychology/social work/community service students to gain experience working with children with autism. Activities include craft, movies, cooking, excursions.

Come along to our Play and Learn Playgroup at Moorditj Kulungar Kwinana. This session provides learning through play opportunities and a safe space for children and families to connect. The Playgroup is for children aged 0 – 4 years led by our Aboriginal Resource Worker, we provide opportunities for Aboriginal families who visit us to learn about the first 3 years of a child’s life and prepare them for school.
