The Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre (MHHC) is a state-of-the-art interpretive centre, within the grounds of St Francis Xavier's Cathedral, that tells the story of architect-priest Monsignor John Cyril Hawes. The Monsignor Hawes Museum Attendant will engage with visitors to help them appreciate the wonderful story of Monsignor John Cyril Hawes and to take the opportunity to visit the many places he built in the Midwest and Gascoyne region of WA.

The Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral is a landmark building of international importance. The story of this fabulous twentieth century cathedral has been published world-wide in a book listing 83 magnificent cathedrals from around the world. This beautiful cathedral is situated at 56 Cathedral Ave Geraldton (corner of Maitland St). It is open to the public from 7.00am until 5.30pm, 7 days a week, except Public Holidays when it's open from 9am.

Help the animals at Leaning Tree Equine & Animal Experience by looking after the 20-acre property out here in Greenough. Our volunteers are involved in the maintenance of the farmland and other activity. Your time makes a huge difference to how the animals feel, their health, and interact. Located in a beautifully restored two storey house alongside Maley's Mill, the Greenough Museum offers an insight into a bygone era. The homestead was built between 1862 and 1880 for John Maley (King of the Greenough Flats), miller, storekeeper, hotel proprietor, entrepreneur and father of 14 children. The museum examines the social life of the Front Greenough Flats from Aboriginal time until today. View the historic trees and wander the community vege garden. Open daily 8.30am to 3.00pm

The Museum and buildings house a large collection of donated items that tell the story of the development of modern Kwinana. This is not heavy cleaning, just general tidy.
