The Family Drug Helpline provides information, support and referrals to people who have someone in their life using alcohol or other drugs. The helpline is staffed by volunteers. THIS IS A PEER SUPORT ROLE, filled by people who have personal experience of being impacted by someone’s substance use. This lived experience is the key selection criteria.

Support is also provided to help individuals access longer term accommodation, and address issues that are impacting opportunities for longer term accommodation. Support worker is needed to provide assistance to the Peplow House staff. Administrative tasks, with the opportunity to go on visits to the cinema, parks, sports with the staff and residents.

We are in need of an experienced and competent driver of our little van "The Moving Wardrobe" to take clothes out to the homeless during the day and also at nights. If you have a few hours to spare perhaps you will consider becoming one of our team to help out.

Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Being able to listen, show care and treat our guests with dignity and compassion is what we ask for.

Can you help to heat up meals, serve meals or do dishes? Chat with guests and share a meal with them. Our guests are isolated or financially disadvantaged people who need some extra support with meals and being with community.
