Reception and Emergency Relief role to assist with delivery of services to consumers in Ballarat.

Uniting's Emergency Relief services have opportunities within their dedicated teams. The roles includes packing and distribution of food, initial eligibility interviews, entry of data, and maintaining the work environment. 1-2 shifts per week, 9am-1pm weekdays.

The Orygen Assist program provides essential items including non-perishable foods, clothing, and hygiene products to young people & their families. This position supports our volunteer-run service by completing deliveries of online clinician orders.

Orygen Assist volunteers provide front-facing assistance to young people and their families at our Parkville drop-in, as well as administrative support for the operational running of the service.

The Salvation Army ‘Doorways’ community support model provides support for those that need it most through financial and material emergency relief and casework which helps them to find long-term solutions. The Doorways Community Connector is the first person a community member meets when they walk through the door. Doorways Community Connectors create a friendly environment by offering refreshments and helping to connect with those who come onsite.
