Reception and Emergency Relief role to assist with delivery of services to consumers in Ballarat.

Uniting's Emergency Relief services have opportunities within their dedicated teams. The roles includes packing and distribution of food, initial eligibility interviews, entry of data, and maintaining the work environment. 1-2 shifts per week, 9am-1pm weekdays.

The role of Emergency Relief Volunteers is designed to provide valuable assistance to Council Officers in the set-up and smooth operation of the Emergency Relief Centre which aims to support community members who may be affected by an emergency. Tasks could include setting up the relief centre to run efficiently, assisting in meeting, greeting and directing community members seeking refuge and assistance, organising food and drink for visitors and community members.

By volunteering with VICSES, you will: • be part of a dedicated team of individuals who are passionate about helping others. • gain valuable experience, and learn new skills. • meet new people, and • make a positive impact on the community.
