Girl Guides activity/program volunteers organise and run activities for groups of girls of various ages, and provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for girls to develop their teamwork and leadership skills. Training and mentoring is provided, and you will be part of a welcoming team. Girl Guides is a fabulous way to make new friends and looks great on your resume.

Interested in working with children in playgroup sessions at Chisholm Frankston and have been working with Frankston Council who are offering short-term facilitation support. In order to provide ongoing sessions we are seeking a volunteer playgroup facilitator to run our session on a Wednesday 9.30-11.30am.

As you may imagine the lock down was a lonely time, so we have created some new volunteer roles to help reduce social isolation and help the elderly who live independently to reconnect back into the community.

Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Being able to listen, show care and treat our guests with dignity and compassion is what we ask for.

Can you help to heat up meals, serve meals or do dishes? Chat with guests and share a meal with them. Our guests are isolated or financially disadvantaged people who need some extra support with meals and being with community.
