The role of Emergency Relief Volunteers is designed to provide valuable assistance to Council Officers in the set-up and smooth operation of the Emergency Relief Centre which aims to support community members who may be affected by an emergency. On Sunday 11 August Muscular Dystrophy will stage Run for Strength - a fun run/walk around Princes Park. We need volunteers to act as marshalls around the course making sure participants dont go the wrong way. It is an easy job but one that is crucial to the success of the event. Its a wonderful celebration of able bodied people coming together with those with a disability.

The Maintenance Volunteer works alongside the Operations & Property Manager at ASRC Footscray to assist with the everyday maintenance and operations of the centre.

To design, construct and/or modify aids and equipment for people with disabilities, participate as a team member on projects and submit reports as required.
