Our Community Shed is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support people of various capabilities to learn and engage in basic woodwork, carpentry and other activities.

We are looking for passionate volunteers who would like to provide positive role models for students, as well as supplementary, hands-on assistance for teachers. We currently require volunteers to offer Literacy support for primary school students, Volunteers should have good communication and life skills, a desire to make a difference to young peoples education and an ability to work within a school environment with a professional approach.

Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. Therefore, we require a minimum commitment of 12 months and two to three hours per fortnight.

W are currently welcoming volunteers to visit a Serbian lady living in an Aged Care. This resident would love to receive social visits with people who speak and are familiar with the Serbian culture.

Our Social Connections Program supports people aged over 65 to get back to the things they love.

Events and Festivals We have many annual, as well as one off events that we need volunteer participation. eg; Australia Day Event etc.

The West Warrnambool Neighbourhood House supports diversity by promoting community participation and inclusion. Volunteers wanted for a variety of interesting activities! At our centre in Norlane, we require volunteers to assist with activities for elderly clients. We are particularly looking for volunteers who are creative and enjoy Arts & Crafts, that can assist with themed projects.
