Are you passionate about rescued farmed animals? Want to contribute to their daily care? The Sanctuary Assistant role is vital in ensuring the animals at Edgar's Mission are provided with clean, safe and hygienic housing, yards and bedding, and that their environments are enriching and safe.

The Foster Care Resources Support volunteer will play an important role within the Foster Care Program in ensuring that when animals go into foster care homes, that they have the equipment needed (including food, toys, bedding etc) and ensuring that when a placement is finished, the resources are returned to our stores, cleaned and ready for use by the next foster carer.

Undertake outdoor work such as planting, nestbox monitoring, fencing, weed control, nature trail maintenance, etc.

We're looking for 25 more volunteers to care for puppies in the City of Boroondara area. Seeking volunteers interested in looking after one of our very special puppies to assist a blind person to live their life to the full. Being a Puppy Carer means you get to experience the joy of looking after an adorable puppy for 12 to 15 months – without any of the associated costs – and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you are assisting someone who is blind to live the life they choose.

A community-based not-for-profit organisation requires volunteers to assist in providing services aimed at keeping the frail aged and those with a disability in touch with the community and enhancing their quality of life. Roles include walking companion, gardening, pet exercising and transport.
