for Scientology Melbourne - Community Services
Scientology Melbourne is looking for individuals who are interested in doing full-time volunteer work. There are many different positions available, all of them exciting in their own way! For those who qualify to work with us, training will be provided for the position, no prior experience necessary.
We are looking for individuals passionate about doing something to fix the drug epidemic in Australia. Drug Free World is an educational program designed to give people the true facts about drugs of all kinds. Our volunteers work together to get this information distributed broadly to people and educators of all kinds.
Ever felt like you wanted to help other people experiencing difficulty but wasn't sure how to go about it? At the Church of Scientology, we get a large variety of people looking for assistance with life difficulties and we are always looking for volunteers who would like to train up as volunteer counsellors to help them.
We are looking for volunteers to assist in our community betterment programs such as Drug Education, Human Rights and Tutoring of children. There are a wide range of volunteers required and all necessary training is required. If you would like to do something to increase your skills & knowledge, whilst helping the community, come and see us!
for Orygen - VW - Mental Health
Orygen Assist volunteers provide front-facing assistance to young people and their families at our Parkville drop-in, as well as administrative support for the operational running of the service.
for EACH - Community Services
Can you provide telephone peer support to people who are in the process of recovering from problem gambling behavior or related to others who are being impacted by someone else’s problem gambling? You will need to be Chinese speaking for this volunteer role. We urgently need more volunteers to join our program.
for Uniting Victoria And Tasmania - Community Services
Welcome consumers with referrals for a food parcel from Uniting Wodonga. Food given according to instruction on the food voucher referral form. • On food delivery days, assist other volunteers to restack shelves from delivered pallets. • Assist with keeping the centre clean and tidy. • Maintain records of consumer food parcels according to the system in place.
Conduct interviews with people who present to Uniting Wodonga seeking assistance with food or other forms of financial relief. • Facilitate referral to other programs of Uniting and other agencies as appropriate. • Assist with administrative tasks including answering the phone and taking messages as directed. • Maintain records of people’s visits according to the data system in place.
for Mentoring Men - Mentoring & Advocacy
Mentoring Men has available positions for Men seeking support. You will have the opportunity to be provided with Free support and life guidance from a male mentor and be a part of our organisation's efforts to encourage men throughout Australia to embrace their mental health support. All men regardless of their background or beliefs are welcome to apply for our program.
