Red Nose Day is our headline fundraising campaign each year, raising funds to support the work of Red Nose in saving little lives and caring for bereaved families, and raising awareness for the cause. The Red Nose website is the supply point for individual, group and corporate Red Nose Day fundraisers. Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Being able to listen, show care and treat our guests with dignity and compassion is what we ask for.

Can you help to heat up meals, serve meals or do dishes? Chat with guests and share a meal with them. Our guests are isolated or financially disadvantaged people who need some extra support with meals and being with community.

We are on the search for Creative Mentors to participate in our 2024 Program! You will have the opportunity to work with young individuals (aged 9 - 13) and assist them in building more confidence and self esteem, achieve goals and be a positive role model.
