We are needing volunteers for the Tasmanian State Jigsaw Puzzle Competition, to be held at the Tailrace Centre. No experience necessary, just a whole lot of fun, meeting amazing people in a unique environment. This is a very diverse and inclusive event for all ages. We need you for registration table, time keeping, and general customer service.

Guide Dogs Tasmania is looking for volunteers that would like to be a part of their collection dog program. Each year significant funds are raised through the collection program that support vital services for Tasmanians who are living with low vision, disability and Illness.

Do you want to take an active role in helping members of your community to improve their physical health and mental wellbeing? Starting a Walking Group is a great way to be social and stay active – and we’ll support you all the way! Heart Foundation Walking is seeking volunteers to start and lead walking groups in their neighbourhood. Walk Organisers need no prior experience and will receive full training and support from the Heart Foundation.

Do you like going to see live music? Do you enjoy going to sporting events? Do you like the arts, going to the theatre, cinema or restaurants? Do you have a passion for equal rights? Do you want to enable a person with a learning disability and/or autism to go to events and get out more? Then you could make a perfect Gig Buddy!

Down Syndrome Queensland (DSQ) is organising for our young adults with Down syndrome to attend our Challenge Weekend Camps throughout the year and require volunteers to assist us with this event. There are multiple opportunities throughout the year: we will require the volunteers to be available from 3pm Friday to approximately 12pm Sunday. Dates range however camps are usually held in March and November.
