Community Aid Volunteers at Lifeline H2HS provide social support for frail, aged people 65 years or older in the form of transport to appointments and activities, accompanied shopping, companionship visits, or social phone calls. One or two hours of your time each week could make your day and theirs.

An older gentleman living in a residential aged care home in Rockdale would like a volunteer (preferably who identifies as LGBTQI) to visit him for around an hour on a weekly or fortnightly basis. He worked as a lawyer and is quite a reserved English man. He would like you to be interested in talking and perhaps playing board games.

An older man living in a residential aged care home in Kirrawee (Sutherland Shire) would like a male volunteer to visit him on a weekly or fortnightly basis. He would like you to be interested in motorcycles, chess and music, in particular The Eagles and similar. The ideal candidate will be based in Australia, with potential connections that maybe within the financial or professional services industry, and will be expected to be active on the Board’s fundraising committee.
