Are you a good listener and want to learn critical skills to support someone who is struggling or experiencing crisis? Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury, based in Gordon, is recruiting now for new volunteers to join their training course in August 2023.

The helpline was established in 2009, and is the only such service in Australia helping people living with pain. Guides have a personal connection to chronic pain and are able to support callers with chronic pain.

The co-facilitator for the "Everybody is Welcome" Pain Support Group can be located anywhere in Australia. The group is a safe space for to help participants to share their experiences of living with chronic pain, promoting self-management techniques, reducing isolation and assisting with health system navigation.

Griefline is a not-for-profit organisation that supports people who are experiencing grief, loss, loneliness and isolation on a national level. We offer a compassionate space where people can express and explore their experiences without being judged. We provide this service through our toll-free helpline, booked support calls, online forums, support groups, self-care information, education, resources, and training programs.
