CareFlight is an integrated aeromedical service with a mission to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community. Our specialist doctors, nurses and paramedics deliver advanced trauma treatment and critical care to the seriously injured at the accident site. We use helicopters, aeroplanes and road vehicles, to reach patients wherever they are.

MDFA's Peer Support Groups provide a safe and welcoming space for people living with aged-related macular degeneration to share their stories and ask questions of their peers. The Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a support group and/or demonstrate the ability to lead a balanced discussion. Personal experience with macular disease is desirable, not necessary.

To facilitate an understanding of this information for the relatives, carers and families attending a Hearing, our service supports a volunteer family support program. Specifically designed for the weekly Hearings, family provide positive feedback about the support provided.
