Australian Refugee Volunteers (ARV) is an entirely volunteer-run non-religious and apolitical organisation that runs exciting programs for children from asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds in Sydney. Our excursions are a mix of fun and developmental activities that give our clients skills and confidence whilst allowing them to just be kids for the day! Volunteers collect children, bring them together as a program group for the activity, and then drop them home at the end of the day.

Make a difference to a child's life today! The volunteer/s will provide friendship and mentoring to a vulnerable child living in difficult circumstances giving the experience and benefits of a stable relationship and an extended family.

The Footpath Library is Australia's only free mobile library, and our books are a gift to those who have difficulty accessing good quality reading material. We're looking for volunteers who can support our service delivery on a monthly basis, mostly during business hours in the week. Locations are Newtown, Waterloo, South Marrickville (daytime) and Sydney CBD (evenings)
