CECAL is looking for a Youth Project Volunteer to assist in running fun and engaging afterschool and school holiday programs for young people aged 11-14 years old in the Canterbury LGA.

This exciting opportunity involves working within a team to assist customers, pricing donations, merchandising and keeping the Op Shop in a tidy and presentable state. You'll be helping raise vital funds for our programs which support young people as well as directing tonnes of goods from landfill. Australian Refugee Volunteers (ARV) is an entirely volunteer-run non-religious and apolitical organisation that runs exciting programs for children from asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds in Sydney. Our excursions are a mix of fun and developmental activities that give our clients skills and confidence whilst allowing them to just be kids for the day! Volunteers collect children, bring them together as a program group for the activity, and then drop them home at the end of the day.

Max Potential is a youth leadership program that connects young people with leaders in their local community. As a community coach you will be trained in the art of leadership coaching and then matched to a young adult from one of the local high schools. You will use your new coaching skills to coach on personal leadership, goals and community leadership. You will receive three professional coaching sessions, and the opportunity to boost your young adult's confidence, self-esteem and resilience.
