Crime Stoppers is a Registered Charity and Community Volunteer Organisation that is not government funded and is not a part of the police department. Crime stoppers is an organisation that assists police by collecting crime related information through an anonymous system and provides the information for police. Crime Stoppers Volunteers raise funds for a rewards program, and for the purchase of promotional merchandise required for educational purposes. Meetings are held monthly.

The Inala Multicultural Festival is a FREE one-day-only event, available to families in our local community and surrounding areas. It combines multicultural performances, rides, great food and diverse stalls. We are looking for Volunteers to join our existing force of 'Everyday Super Heroes' as a Weekend Warrior, at our Townsville House. In this volunteer role, you will be the face of the organization and the first point of contact for our families, volunteers, donors and visitors who walk through our doors during weekend hours and provide support in the event of an emergency. You will ensure efficiency of House operations at weekends, with 3 different 4 hour shifts available between 8am - 8pm.

Mentors required for children and young people from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds for 2 hours per fortnight (times and days flexible). Mentors provide friendship and community engagement for a period of 12 months.
