Scouting engages and inspires young people aged 5 - 25 to develop confidence, resilience and leadership skills. Our adult leaders support this journey and develop life-changing skills along the way. We have a variety of volunteering opportunities available for adults who are up for some outdoor fun and adventure. Training and support will be provided, including access to formal qualifications in business, leadership and outdoor recreation.

Assist new drivers to become safe on the road. Bring your life skills and we will train and upskill through your mentoring journey. We provide training with an accredited driving instructor, one-on-one with volunteers, insurance, and vehicle. Approved volunteer organisation of Service Australia.

These include becoming a trained Scout Leader or assisting as a trained youth or adult helper. We have all sections of Scouting and our young people are aged 5-25.This is your opportunity for adventure and to gain new skills. Relevant training is supplied. Assistance is provided to apply for a Blue Card. Leaders -18 years and up. Youth helpers from 15 years.

PCYC Queensland’s Braking the Cycle program supports young people to complete their mandatory 100 hours of supervised driving in a safe and suitable vehicle with a volunteer mentor. The vehicles are kindly donated by the community. They provide support to host families, a safe space for students from all over the world and create excitement in their local community. You'll meet beautiful people within your community, other coordinators from around Australia and students from all over the world!

As a volunteer Project Coordinator, you will actively assist the Project Manager and respective project professionals to support the delivery of the program and individual project objectives. You will play a pivotal role in organizing meetings, proposing improvement opportunities to current ways of doing things and building strong relationships with key stakeholders and reporting the progress of projects to all stakeholders.
