This role is integral to our ability to continue our work and to grow, and is perfect for someone who loves event coordination and will work with the team to ensure all Pre-Event Preparation is done. The Event Coordinator will oversee Signal Flare’s social BBQ gathering on the day of the event, with a limited amount of pre-work to prepare for the day. This role requires a full day on the particular event day, and a preparation time of 1-2 hours per week between events.

Andy's Place operates a drop-in center every Thursday morning from 8 to 11 am for vulnerable and homeless people in Brisbane City. We are looking for an additional supervisor to volunteer on 1 Thursday morning a month from 7.30 to 11.30 am to set up tables, chairs, and breakfast, and supervise 2-3 volunteers.

A volunteer admin role with diversity supporting a great bunch of people who work as a dedicated team. Your participation will be interesting, never boring and always with great people. You can be assured that your participation will have a positive impact on clients and the staff that support them. Activities will be with other people or working alone.
