The St Vincent de Paul Society Youth Team is looking for leaders aged between 21 – 35 years old to support local teenagers in our Youth Mentoring program. Leaders do not require any previous volunteering experience, but must be warm, energetic, and have a passion for supporting young people. This role begins asap until end September, following festival wrap up and lessons learnt are documented for future festivals.

Way Finding Volunteers help families navigate their way around the Queensland Children’s Hospital (QCH).Everyday QCH sees more than 1000 families come through the doors and the Way Finders are often the first point of contact for worried and often hurried parents, offering a welcoming smile and a gentle guiding hand.

As an Operating Theatre Recovery volunteer, you will work closely with staff to support the post-anaesthetic care of patients by providing comfort, as well as reconnecting and regulating caregiver visits. Volunteers also support the Queensland Children’s Hospital Recovery staff by answering the phones and maintaining comfort supplies.
