The Pillowcase Program is a school-based disaster preparedness program designed to help students aged 8-10 (years 3 to 4) build their knowledge and capacity in disaster preparedness. We are seeing emergencies occur more frequently and with more severity. This project is part of the broader, emergency preparedness, response and recovery programs of Australian Red Cross.

We are looking for volunteers to drive our refrigerated van to pick up food donations and transport them to our Community Hub to help feed the people experiencing homelessness.

Our outreach, crisis support and accommodation teams assist people with their needs and support them to access the services that are right for them at any stage in their journey. Volunteers help us to reach more people experiencing homelessness.
