Samaritans are looking for passionate and dedicated Volunteer Support Counsellors to get involved in an innovative collaborative service with Ruah and Telethon Kids Institute. The Youth Suicide Sanctuary is the first of it's kind in Western Australia and will offer appropriate support for young people experiencing thoughts of suicide. The Youth Suicide Sanctuary, as the name suggests, will be a peaceful place where young people can explore their thoughts in a caring environment.

We are currently looking for Parent Peer Volunteers to facilitate family peer support groups to parents and families. You may also be interested in providing telephone support to parents calling the service in distress on our telephone roster, As our service provides Peer Support, IT'S ESSENTIAL you have lived experience in this area.

Anglicare WA's Active Response Bereavement Outreach (ARBOR) Program is a free service offering emotional support to people recently impacted by losing loved ones to suicide through grief and loss counselling, group sessions and peer support.
