The Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation Gift Shop is located at the Perth Children’s Hospital in Nedlands. Since relocating from Princess Margaret Hospital, the Gift Shop has continued a long tradition of providing patients, parents, visitors and staff with a convenient place to purchase gifts and other necessities with the knowledge that 100% of the profits are retained for the benefit of the hospital.

General Volunteers operate in departments within the hospital based on their experience and/or interest. The volunteers will carry out a range of activities designed to support patients and their visitors during their stay at the hospital. A volunteer has the opportunity to have a more ongoing interaction with a particular ward or clinical service

Give back to your local community by providing a valuable food service, where profits generated are used to purchase equipment and resources for the Hospital, and develop friendships that can extend outside of the Hospital environment.

Would you like to meet many different people, help those who are sometimes stressed, use your communication skills, become completely familiar with Hollywood hospital, experience variety in your day? ‘Front of House’ volunteers are required at the hospital to meet and greet visitors and patients; to escort visitors to their destinations; to assist staff at main reception as required; to provide companionship to those waiting in the lobby area etc.
