for Save the Children - Human Rights
Using the quality guidelines, organise books into their respective categories, box, and place into storage. We have very very high quantities of books to process and targets to meet in order to keep stock levels managable for the next day. Heaving lifting of 5-10kg's is required to place boxes of book onto the sorting table, and moving 'done' boxes to the trolleys to wheel them into the warehousing aisles.

Our Warehouse Manager is seeking some enthusiastic go-getters to help sort and organise stock donations. These donations can range from bric-a-brac, kitchen utensils, crockery, clothing, books, footwear, CD/DVD's, toys, art etc.
Are you a community minded person who enjoys of service? This role could be just what you are looking for.

This is a fun and intriguing role where you are able to get involved with all the behind the scenes processes involved in running the Save the Children Op Shops as a valued VOLUNTEER. We have a wonderful team of like minded people! CENTRELINK JOBSEEKERS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY - NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY We help, train and support all volunteers in return for your commitment and voluntary work to help raise money through the op shops.
Do you have a couple of hours to spare on a weekend? We are looking for volunteers on a Saturday in our op-shop! Students are welcome to apply!
