Hollywood Hospital is seeking compassionate volunteers to join our Meal Delivery Team as a Food Friends Volunteers. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive their meals efficiently and with a smile.

We are currently looking for Parent Peer Volunteers to facilitate family peer support groups to parents and families. You may also be interested in providing telephone support to parents calling the service in distress on our telephone roster, As our service provides Peer Support, IT'S ESSENTIAL you have lived experience in this area.

We require volunteers to offer arts and crafts to patients and their families.

The group of volunteers, called 'The Friends' are like minded people of all ages and backgrounds who "like to help". Friendships are formed. Often it is found all that is needed is a sympathetic ear and words of encouragement and cheer. To allay the apprehension of those who find strangeness and loneliness in their new hospital surroundings, the volunteers visit inpatients, escort new patients and visitors to appointments, provide comfort, always with a kind word or gesture and good cheer.

We have 3 vegetable patches that need looking after that will benefit our support Center. You could be a horticulture student looking for some experience or an experienced gardener wanting to give back to the community

Fresh Start is a not-for-profit addiction and substance use disorder recovery program that is looking for reliable, efficient and easy-going people, that are available as soon as possible on Wednesdays from 3pm until 6pm from Feb 9th until March 15, and enjoy cooking a variety of healthy home cooked meals, for our residents who are in the early stages of recovery and detoxification. The power of a home cooked meal is soul warming and can make our clients feel safe and comfortable.

Radio Lollipop's amazing volunteers provide care, comfort, play, and entertainment to children in hospital. You too can add some fun and laughter into a child's stay at hospital, brighten their road to recovery, and all as part of a wonderful team. A one-year commitment a required, consisting of a weekly 2.5 - 3 hour shift. The 'FSH' team has an awesome play-room for group games, brings smiles to children on the ward and in ED, and collaborates with Murdoch's team for awesome catch-ups!

You too can add some fun and laughter into a child's stay at hospital, brighten their road to recovery, and all as part of a wonderful team. A one-year commitment is required, consisting of a weekly 2.5 - 3 hour shift. PCH provides the unique opportunity to work on the radio, with volunteers rotating between broadcasting and interactive play on the ward.
